Stop Sending Donations to Foreign Charities

If you tried to figure out how much money is sent to foreign counties by the US government (aka u and ME) I am sure the number would be difficult to get a firm grasp on. In doing a fast search to write this article, I found several answers and I just don’t feel like digging though all the articles and documents to get the true amount. but we all know it us HUGE– in the Billions, Maybe Trillions.

Now add to that how much us plain folk send to foreign charities, like the ones for orphan kids in impoverished countries, and disaster relief, and a host of other more honorable causes.

And it is good to do so, to some extent. When the Tsunami;s hit, and when Haiti had the earth quake, we couldn’t write checks fast enough it seems …

But let’s not forget – WE HAVE PEOPLE RIGHT HERE IN OUR OWN LAND IN  NEED OF MANY THINGS just to survive.

So when you are making your plans for this year, remember that AMERICA has lots and lots of people who need help and donations for time, and money. Just  10 bux from a Lot of people = a lot of help for a lot of our people.

Let’s have more Home Grown Help for our own.

Lets try to keep more of our resources “in the family” of fellow Americans. Look for local causes that need help. Help the “smaller guy”.  (and no this is NOT a push for that united way  organization.)
